Chapter 2956 - 958: (Part 2)
Zhou Tian does not regret his previous decision. After all, in terms of Zhou Tian’s plan, the Light God King is undoubtedly the biggest obstacle to his subsequent actions. Thus, if there’s an opportunity to eliminate the Light God King in one fell swoop, Zhou Tian truly cannot think of a reason why he shouldn’t do it.Therefore, if the situation at that time were to repeat itself, Zhou Tian believes he would still make the same decision. Given the circumstances then, since he doesn’t regret his decision, now Zhou Tian can only speed up at that moment, hoping to rescue his angels from the encirclement of the modified angels before the Abyssal Consciousness targets him.
With that in mind, Zhou Tian rushed to the battlefield of his angels as quickly as possible. Upon arriving at the battlefield, the situation he saw directly stunned him.
A large number of modified angels and several True Gods had formed a huge encirclement, and the angels he brought were in it looking like defeated soldiers. Given their condition at the time, Zhou Tian believed it was only a matter of time before the modified angels and deities would eliminate them all.
According to the previous information received, Zhou Tian was not surprised that his angels were in such an environment. After all, if his angels weren’t in a poor situation, seemingly about to be completely wiped out if he were not careful, it’s likely Zhou Tian wouldn’t have rushed to recover his strength at that time.
So, seeing his angels surrounded and the enemy possessing the power to eliminate them all in one fell swoop, all of this didn’t surprise Zhou Tian. But in that dire situation for his angels, Zhou Tian was quite surprised by the performance of the modified angels.
Zhou Tian hadn’t considered what the Light God King might be thinking at the time, so he naturally didn’t expect what kind of deployment the Light God King would make. Hence, based on the circumstances, regardless of how the Light God King deployed his troops to deal with Zhou Tian’s angels, it was not unexpected. And since they occupied such an absolute advantage, naturally, they would eliminate all of Zhou Tian’s angels in one fell swoop.
Thus, even if the Light God King’s troops were attacking his angels, Zhou Tian wouldn’t be surprised if his angels suffered big losses. However, because the Light God King issued relative orders at that time, even though they had the ability to eliminate all of Zhou Tian’s angels, those modified angels and deities didn’t do so, choosing to encircle but not attack, their performance surprised Zhou Tian.
Of course, no matter how surprised Zhou Tian was by the enemy side’s performance, his actions wouldn’t be influenced at that time. According to the circumstances, as long as his angels hadn’t safely returned to the Abyss World, he wouldn’t change how he acted, regardless of how unexpected the enemy’s performance was.
Therefore, even though the performance of those modified angels and deities was surprising, Zhou Tian’s actions were unaffected. Upon discovering that the modified angels hadn’t attacked his angels, Zhou Tian prepared to take action and rescue his angels without considering the reasons.
As expected, there were no accidents when executing those actions. After all, not to mention the Light God King had already issued related orders, none of the nearby modified angels and deities intended to stop Zhou Tian. Even if they wanted to, given Zhou Tian’s strength, if he truly wanted to escape, could those modified angels really stop him?
By leveraging his powerful strength, Zhou Tian swiftly managed to create favorable retreat conditions for his angels. Given that situation, since things developed into such a state, after Zhou Tian issued related orders, his angels naturally retreated.
Everything went smoothly, and within less than an hour, Zhou Tian sent his angels back to the Abyss World. However, immediately after sending his angels away, Zhou Tian felt enormous pressure upon himself.
Undoubtedly, the Heavenly Consciousness targeted Zhou Tian once again at that time.
But Zhou Tian didn’t feel surprised due to that situation because he knew this would happen when he sent his angels away. After all, to send them back to the Abyss World, Zhou Tian inevitably needed to establish a connection between the Abyss World and the Paradise World. In doing so, no matter how easy it was for Zhou Tian, it implicitly indicated to Heavenly Consciousness that his invasion was linked with Abyssal Consciousness. Under such circumstances, even if Heavenly Consciousness knew Abyssal Consciousness posed little threat to it, it’s unlikely to be lenient with Zhou Tian.
Consequently, considering the situation at that time, not discovering Zhou Tian’s link with Abyssal Consciousness might have been better. But, since it was discovered, from all aspects, Heavenly Consciousness certainly had reasons to teach Zhou Tian a lesson.
Based on Heavenly Consciousness’s abilities, it actually had a certain hope of permanently keeping Zhou Tian in the Paradise World, if it truly wanted to disregard everything and do so. However, unfortunately, even though Heavenly Consciousness possessed such strength, its weak thinking capability only instinctively knew Zhou Tian was the enemy, thus starting actions against him. Given those circumstances, regardless of Zhou Tian’s threat, Heavenly Consciousness wasn’t capable of fully dealing with him.
Thus, when Heavenly Consciousness realized and began acting against Zhou Tian, his situation was indeed not good. But it’s undeniable that even if Zhou Tian wasn’t in a good situation, as long as Heavenly Consciousness didn’t strike him with full strength, Zhou Tian could escape if he truly wanted to.
Ultimately, the primary reason for Heavenly Consciousness’s dissatisfaction is that Zhou Tian wasn’t a living being from Paradise. Otherwise, without this reason, upon entering Paradise World, Zhou Tian likely wouldn’t have been deliberately targeted by Heavenly Consciousness.
Under those circumstances, if Zhou Tian continued to stay in Paradise World, responding to all he did against Heavenly Consciousness, however it targets him, seems acceptable.
However, based on Heavenly Consciousness’s nature, if Zhou Tian decides to leave Paradise World, Heavenly Consciousness likely wouldn’t have any interest in targeting him anymore. According to its nature, Heavenly Consciousness is a type that only conducts passive counterattacks, the more its benefit is invaded, the stronger its counterattack becomes. If something poses no threat, Heavenly Consciousness won’t consider attacking, no matter how weak the opposite side is. (To be continued.
