Chapter 36: The E-sports Chen Shimei?
Chapter 36: The E-sports Chen Shimei?
"Finally, it's almost done cutting."
I finished my two morning classes in College English and Introduction to Computer Science, and I also finished editing Jiang Feng's video.
Editing is no easier than attending classes. Jiang Feng stretched, looked around, and smiled with satisfaction: Great, not many people are studying seriously.
Jiang Feng turned to his three unruly sons and urged, "Did you listen attentively in class today?"
"Damn it, you two CS players, stop blocking my cards!" Zhang Jindong retorted without even looking up, busy with his D cards, "You weren't paying attention in class either, were you?"
"I'm working on my career!" Jiang Feng retorted, his argument lacking conviction. "You unfilial children! If you don't study hard, how will you be able to do the problems on the final exam? If you can't, whose work am I supposed to copy from?!"
Besides the video about Pu Ba, Jiang Feng also edited four other videos that morning: a guide to drawing two guns from the center control panel, a video of modifying the M14 and M7 gun codes, a montage of exciting operations, and operation tutorials, including the flexible use of tactical shooting stances, tutorials on the PEEK and regular PEEK, and various jet propulsion techniques for the Dragon.
The voice-over was recorded during the break between classes in the stairwell or hallway. I just read from the script, and the half-hour break was enough time.
To be honest, there's much more of his live stream content from yesterday that could be edited into a video, but he only picked out some of the highlights. The rest will be edited into a video clip, although it's not edited yet, but it will be sooner or later.
The bell rang precisely on time. University professors never extend get out of class time. Almost the instant the bell rang, the four brutes in dormitory 214 sprang up and rushed out.
"Let's go! Today we're having a combination rice bowl with grilled meat and chicken cutlet!"
The food in the school cafeteria is really hard to swallow; unless you're broke by the end of the month, nobody wants to eat there.
There's a fast food restaurant downstairs in the dormitory run by an auntie from Northeast China. It's delicious and affordable, and the grilled meat and chicken cutlet combo is absolutely amazing. There's always a long queue in front of the restaurant during mealtimes.
"Brother De, bring me one! Extra spicy! I'm at 4090 now, heading back to the dorm to assemble the computer!" Jiang Feng shouted as he ran back to the dorm.
His three roommates watched his retreating figure, all muttering "traitor" in unison, before obediently going to queue up.
As soon as Jiang Feng arrived at the dormitory building, the delivery guy was already waiting there with a large box. The guy kindly helped carry the box into the dormitory, and Jiang Feng made a point of opening the box and checking it on the spot. After all, it contained valuable electronic equipment, and he could only sign for it after confirming that everything was in order.
When the box was opened, it not only contained the 4090 desktop computer, but also a 4K 240Hz monitor, and even a webcam and microphone.
Delta is not very sensitive to refresh rate; resolution is more important. Since Delta itself has a blurry image and strong graininess, increasing the resolution can effectively solve this problem.
P.S.: I'm using 4K resolution, and many people find 4K more comfortable, but most streamers and professional players currently use 1080P. It depends on personal preference. Anyway, I can't see people clearly in 1080P.
"Damn, wasn't it supposed to be only 4090? This is way too much!" Jiang Feng thought to himself, feeling like he owed this person a huge favor.
He quickly took a picture of the unboxing and sent it to Anke, with the caption: "Wow, I received everything! The monitor and peripherals are top-notch, thank you so much!" He also added a heart emoji.
Anke replied instantly: "As long as it works!"
Jiang Feng didn't delay and quickly started installing the computer. After installing and turning it on, he found that the system had been reset and was completely clean. Anke had also thoughtfully installed Delta Network beforehand. If he were relying on the dormitory's snail-paced campus network to download it, it would have taken at least half a day to finish.
After he finished installing the editing software and live streaming tools, his roommates returned with food. Chen Dexing handed him a double-portion rice bowl of roasted meat and chicken. Chen Yulin circled the computer, feeling a pang of jealousy: "Seriously? Anke is too good to you. Not only did she give you the computer, but she also gave you a monitor, microphone, and webcam."
"So you've really become a kept man?"
Jiang Feng shoveled rice into his mouth. The grilled meat coated in spicy sauce was really delicious, but it couldn't compare to the aroma of a soft rice bowl. It was a pity that An Ke didn't want to be in a relationship, otherwise, this soft rice bowl would be so delicious!
My phone suddenly vibrated; it was a WeChat message from PDD: "Dude, what's the plan for this afternoon?"
Jiang Feng was genuinely surprised that PDD, this night owl, was up so early: "Coincidentally, I don't have class this afternoon."
PDD: "How about we get into space?"
Jiang Feng replied with "OK," and the other party immediately sent him the YY channel number.
Jiang Feng opened his live stream, connecting with Delta and YY, then turned to his roommate and said, "We might have to do some 'oil-scratching' together tomorrow; I'm playing with PDD today."
The roommates had no objections, and the three of them gathered around, ready to eat while watching Jiang Feng's actions.
"We're going to be live streaming with cameras on today, so please be mindful of your image," Jiang Feng reminded them.
Tuesday afternoons are for club activities, and there are no classes for the whole school.
Chen Yulin: "I shared your live stream in our class group. I told them you're a Delta Force master, but they didn't believe me. Today I'll show them!"
Chen Dexing chimed in, "I've watched so many streamers, and none of them are as skilled as Fengzi. Even if Fengzi doesn't become a top streamer, he can at least make a living with Delta."
Zhang Jindong nodded and chimed in, "Then we'll definitely get to eat. With Fengzi's looks, he's more than qualified to be a beauty streamer, not to mention he's also skilled. Look how happy Fengzi made Anke yesterday."
The brothers chatted earnestly about Jiang Feng's future, without a trace of jealousy.
Jiang Feng felt a warmth in his heart and turned to say, "I feel like Delta Force will become incredibly popular in the future. Besides, this game doesn't just have one path: becoming a streamer. You guys can also try becoming Delta Force bloggers. While it's still not completely overpowered, quickly secure a place for yourself. Achieving something later will definitely be much better than finding an ordinary job!"
Before the broadcast started, Jiang Feng pointed out a clear path for the three of them: seize the opportunity before Delta becomes a hit and quickly secure a place for themselves. Achieving something is definitely better than finding a job later!
Before the broadcast started, he pointed out a clear path for his three brothers. However, with the broadcast time fast approaching, he didn't have time to elaborate. He thought he would plan out their future paths properly later.
Jiang Feng clicked the start-up button, and within moments, dozens of people flooded into the live stream, with the chat instantly bursting with comments:
Wow, why didn't you tell me you were going to start broadcasting this afternoon?! Was this a surprise attack?
[Hey streamer, you should at least create a group chat so you can remind me when you go live!]
[Who knows? I just finished lunch and there's a live stream with Haki-style humor to watch, isn't that great?]
[Wow, there's a camera now, everyone! We can finally see Haki's stunning good looks!]
[They really are college students. Are those three idiots in the back their roommates?]
Everyone, please keep the platform unchanged. I know this is difficult, but it's an order.
Honey, honey, I'm here!
[New viewers are in luck! You are now standing before the most outstanding person in the aerospace industry!]
Jiang Feng smiled and greeted the camera: "Good afternoon, everyone. I'm a new streamer, so please forgive my lack of experience. I apologize. I'll create a fan group later, and I'll let everyone know in the group before the broadcast, so don't worry."
"By the way, today's equipment was sponsored by Miss Anke, let's give Miss Anke a round of praise!"
"This afternoon's program features a deep dive into aerospace with PDD. If you haven't followed yet, be sure to subscribe! Don't miss this exciting segment!"
Jiang Feng logged into YY and was immediately caught by PDD as soon as he entered the channel: "Bro, I watched your last game yesterday, it was outrageous! My mouth was agape the whole time, I couldn't even close it, even cheaters couldn't outplay you!"
Jiang Feng, without any modesty, replied with a smile, "Brother Liu, you're wrong. Ordinary cheats really can't beat me."
Chen Xinzai also squeezed into the channel at that moment, and a sly laugh came through: "Hehehehe, Brother Liu, I'm here!"
PDD was somewhat exasperated: "Wow, what brings you here?"
"I knew you got up so early this afternoon to play duo with Jiang Feng!" Chen Xinzai teased. "You pretended you had something to do this afternoon, but I caught you! You didn't want to take me? No way, I'd like to ride in your trailer too!"
PDD sighed, "Oh dear, I was originally planning to invite Haotian along to enjoy a double protection from the Empire!"
"If we bring along a loser like you, then we'll only be able to rely on Fengzai."
"We're not invincible either. Even if we're bots, Fengzai is strong enough to carry us."
"Let me tell you about Fengzai," Chen Xinzai changed the subject, praising earnestly, "your maneuver yesterday really stunned me. My first thought was that you'd been killed. That sense of pressure, wow, it was too strong!"
"Hey, actually Brother Liu and Brother Xin are pretty strong too. I was playing with my head on the edge. If it weren't for good luck, I might not have been able to beat you guys."
In a gesture of courtesy, they exchanged pleasantries, and Jiang Feng smiled and returned a couple of compliments.
The group laughed heartily in YY, creating a lively atmosphere.
While the three of them were exchanging compliments, An Ke on the other side of the screen was staring intently at Jiang Feng's live stream, her face so dark it could drip water.
After delivering the console, she was happily waiting for Jiang Feng to invite her to play Delta Force together. However, Jiang Feng not only didn't send a single WeChat message inviting her, but instead teamed up with PDD to launch a full-scale attack on SpaceX.
Anke felt both angry and aggrieved, and a sense of loss welled up in her heart. The men who pursued her stretched from Hangzhou to Paris, but none of them could compare to this slutty pig!
"Play games with other people using my console?"
"The Esports Chen Shimei!"
"Play, I'll let you play!"
Anke grabbed her phone abruptly, her voice filled with a fierce, clenched grit. She dialed a number rapidly, her voice urgent and forceful: "Send me your shop's two top thugs, now, immediately! They have to be ruthless and strong. I'll pay double!"
After hanging up the phone, she stared at Jiang Feng's smug smile on the screen, a vengeful smirk playing on her lips: "Today I'm going to make you question your existence by sniping you!"
